This place is amazing. All the people who say it is bad are just saying that because they are mad that they made them come here against their will. This wonderful wonderful place cured my depression. Most of the staff is amazing. The only down sides I had we're one of the technician ladies was snarky and mean, and some of the people you are in there with might be rude, but that depends. Of you live in Georgia and are suffering from depression/suicidal thoughts, this place is your best bet!

I was admitted here this past May, and it was great. It was my first inpatient stay for suicidal ideation/plan, and I felt safe. The staff was amazing for the most part, and I felt so supported. The only bad part is that treatment is really quick and not substantial, as well as not very applicable if you don’t struggle with addiction to substances. Other than that, it was great! I would recommend this place despite what others are saying!

I used to work here and I know the quality care provided. That being said, there are way better places to get reviews and survey reports from regulatory agencies which will give you a better picture of what happens here. Google review for food and shopping, this is too important to be open to this kind of review.

The Best place to be after a suside attempt. The staff is amazing and friendly. You meet with your doctor once a day. You see your therapist at least once a day. Every mental facility should be like Lauralwood. Food is better than cafeteria lunches. Everyone is super supportive and cares about the patients.
